Dr. Steven Gouge has been selected by the Brushy Mountain Baptist Association as their new Director of Missions. Steve and his wife, Wanda are from Spruce Pine, NC. He has pastored Southern Baptist Churches since 1971. Steve has been the pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville, NC since May, 1996.
Dr. Gouge is presently serving as a trustee for Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky, volunteer Associate for Interfaith Evangelism of the NAMB, General Board for the NC Baptist Convention and many more services. He also teaches at Fruitland Bible Institute.
Steve is hard at work in the Association and is spending lots of time visiting churches, learning faces and conducting the work of the Director of Missions.
